I recently celebrated my birthday and I kept getting asked the same thing- what are your plans and what do you want to do on this day? I muttered some things but deep down, all I wanted to do is stand below these beautiful pink trees and just dangle it's branch on me to feel the softness of those flowers on me.
It sounds childish even but I can't explain the joy and happiness just the thought does. It's nature's love that just feels so boundless & profound. I had a wonderful dinner with friends and the very next day a thought occurred to me. If I could be anything in the world, I want to be the Chief Happiness officer. I mean at my heart, that's who I am.
Seeing someone smile makes me feel so at peace and happy. Frankly, I do it out of empathy too. Everyone is hustling everyday, a good compliment, a hug, a coffee with friends is just the best remedy & warmth on hard days
And we all have them. Day in and day out. Trying to be the best or just taking one step at a day, it does need effort and consistency. Of late, of all the shades of love, I feel self love the most important. It's your armour on a tough day and your sense of being on most days.
It's the love your body and mind crave and with everything it requires, nourishment and love too. Love is such a powerful force. It is the essence that fuels us to the craziest things in the world and it is healing touch can cure the worst of pains. It is courage and softness. Such a perfect blend of yin and yang embodiment that it makes us all whole.
All the vices in the world that control us in some shape or form are devoid of love, trust and happiness. And the moment your heart opens to the idea of love itself, self love or any other form, your soul emanates and encompasses that power. The power to be your best, whole healed self. Love, does really conquer all.
